OUR STORY
It all began many years ago one late summer afternoon in Knysna, South Africa. Our first collection of African figurines stacked in a few boxes in the back corner of a large and empty warehouse suddenly looked more like an impulsive leap of faith-based entirely on the quality of the items in the boxes. But before dust had time to gather on any box, the stock was on retail shelves and sold out promptly with customers immediately placing repeat orders. So began the ever-growing demand for our range. Today our premises cover two warehouses and over 1000 square meters as we continue to expand our range, with plans for a third warehouse in the near future. We have expanded our manufacturing capacity, and offer branding to our customers too.
Now 24 years later we are a known brand, and making our mark in contemporary décor innovation that Africa is becoming increasingly renowned for the world over. The demand for African design among top contemporary décor styles across the globe has seen us both influence and respond to evolving modern trends. Our accent and collection pieces that offer a fusion of classic African culture with contemporary lines and finishes are beautifully at home in rustic, classic, modern and sophisticated interiors.
Marula Decor’s range
We design and develop our many ranges in Knysna, South Africa, with innovation, quality and style being keywords. We also manufacture custom-designed items based on order volumes. Our silver plated and bronze patina decor range of statement pieces has brought wild Africa into the modern interior, using luxurious metals and finishes to meet the demand of discerning buyers with an eye for the exotic and the timeless.
As our selection continues to shape and meet evolving African trends in global interior design, we are expanding the choice of creative innovative selections of ceremonial tribal traditions. Our collection of ornamental home-ware in African themes has expanded our product range, offering a much greater appeal.
